Five ways to tie the Natural Jersey
There are as many ways to tie a wrap as there are crowns to wear one, but these five are the ones we come back to.
The high knot. Fold the wrap into a wide band, wrap twice, and knot high above the forehead. Tuck the tails or let them fan — either way, it reads regal.
The side twist. Start off-center and twist the tails around each other before coiling them at the temple. Ten seconds, endless compliments.
The turban. Full coverage, full drama. Cross the tails at the nape, bring them forward, twist and tuck.
The half-up. Leave your edges and a puff free — the wrap becomes a wide crown band. Perfect for wash-day week.
The church Sunday. Our favorite. High, structured, unapologetic. Wrap, twist, coil, pin — and walk in like the choir is already singing.
